Free public transport for tourists in Salzburger Land from 2025

From summer 2025, our guests will be able to use all public transport in the entire province of Salzburg free of charge and unlimited.

For example, the following journeys will be free of charge

• a bus journey to Bad Gastein to the Felsentherme thermal spa (approx. 15 minutes). Please note that the Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein can be reached by foot!
• the direct train connection to the city of Salzburg to explore the birthplace of Mozart (approx. 1h 15).
• a train journey to Hallein to the Celtic Museum (approx. 1h 15).
• the journey to one of the many ‘public transport hiking tours’ in the province
